About the Founder

Thomas Raynor discovered his passion for publicity and marketing while getting his start as an intern in the office of an eight-time Tony Award-winning producer.

On Broadway, he has worked on countless publicity and marketing campaigns, including productions such as The Tony Award-winning revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; Glengarry Glen Ross with Al Pacino; The Tony Award-winning revival of The Glass Menagerie; The Bridges of Madison County; All the Way with Bryan Cranston; Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill starring Audra McDonald; You Can't Take It With You; Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2; and The King and I starring Kelli O'Hara. Off-Broadway: Papa Woof Dada Hot, Kill Floor, The Royale, Her Requiem and the critically acclaimed world premiere of Turn Me Loose starring Emmy Award-winner Joe Morton. 

Since founding Rayn or Shine PR in May of 2017, Thomas has had the privilege of working with some of NYC’s leading theatrical talents, including Sarah Stiles on her one woman show Squirrel Heart, choreographer & director Chase Brock (Be More Chill on Broadway), actor & producer David Ebert, and various participants of the New York Musical Festival. In addition, he has served as a publicity & marketing consultant on the launch of several technology companies and lifestyle brands.
